Cooking with Confidently Living – Tortillas

I’ve finally gotten around to posting the video on how to make Tortillas.  Tortillas are really pretty easy and basic we eat them often here and I learned how to make them years ago, although i’m still not good at making them round and pretty.

You can put pretty much anything on a tortilla from ground beef, to veggies and heck we’ve even slathered them with nutella, yes I said nutella.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups masa harina
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cup cold water

To see the details on how to make these watch the video.

Thank you to Denise for asking me to put up the video and to all of you that “bug”  (plant the little critter of do this in my ear) me about different cooking methods, ideas and recipes.  So keep those bugs coming 🙂

  1. Ever since I started making my own tortillas, I just can’t go back to store bought. For Christmas my husband gave me a tortilla press, so now mine actually come out round. 🙂
