A Visit to Mitsuwa Marketplace and more Midori

Today my hubby took me to Mitsuwa Marketplace in Edgewater, New Jersey to visit the Kinokuniya bookstore which usually has amazing Japanese paper, anime, books and stationary.

Although Kinokuniya is awesome I found the stationary section to be very small and limited.  I was expecting more and was somewhat disappointed in the amount of stuff they had and the prices.

My purchase totaled $28 and was basically 2 pencils, refill lead and an eraser (that smells like fruit). Their book selection is great and lot of magazine, books and more in both English and Japanese.

Next door however, was another shop that was full of awesome stuff again a bit pricey but they had a lot of products, including HELLO KITTY.

A lot of hello kitty, but the highlight for me was the market place itself and of course I was so wrapped up in checking out the produce, foods, and snacks that I totally forgot to snap pictures.  I did snap one of the view from the back of the market.

So here is a little video of the haul and more Midori info for your viewing pleasure.

Afterwards we went to eat because my hubby is not an adventurous eater he wouldn’t eat at the market place although the food looked amazing.

At least I got my bubble tea before we left.

So if you are looking for the Midori Resource Facebook Group I belong to you can visit them here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/132642456932203/
