I should have known when I burned the pancakes this morning that I should keep away from the stove. But it’s Sunday and my usual cooking day and so I decided to try out a recipe I got from Jas. Townsend and Son for vermicelli pudding. This recipe dates back to the 18th century and it basically an old fashion Kugel.
I was pretty excited to try this out it seems simple enough and so I got my ingredients together and started to cook.
Unfortunately it was somewhat of a fail try and didn’t quite come together.
There were a few issues I think that caused this but it really did have a good taste.
After trying this out and thinking about it I would love to try this concept as a rice pudding which I think would have an amazing taste.
