Here is a simple historic recipe I tried out this weekend. It’s from Ancient Rome called “Ancient Roman Cheese Cakes” these are no where close to what modern day cheese cakes are. More like a bread this has a nice crust with the soft texture of the Ricotta cheese when you take a bit. Served warm and soaked in honey if you want to try something different I highly suggest this simple recipe.
