Perfectly Imperfect

I have a thing for imperfect pieces of pottery.  When shopping at craft and holiday fairs I often find myself heading straight to the potters tent and rummaging through each pieces looking for forgotten wayward fingerprints or dents, small fine lines, wonky areas or any thing that tells me that it was handmade.  For me these imperfect pieces have a load of character, they tell me a little bit about who created it and make me wonder if they tried to fix the imperfections or simple felt it was okay to leave it that way.

I always tell others it’s okay to be imperfect.  Imperfections give us character and make us who we are.

Embrace your not so perfect self it’s okay.
